A Honey Mooner’s paradise between tea gardens in God’s own country Kerala (India). A green heaven, virgin land, never touched with artificial things, away from heat and dust, hill station in Annamalai area of Kerala. World’s highest tea gardens (1600 meters above sea level) spread over so many kilometers like green carpet owned by Tata Tea of India. History of the City
In the year 2000 Kerala Government declared Munnar a tourist spot. A British time summer resort and summer capitol in South India. Tea plantations started here around year 1890.

Location
A Hill station in India’s Southern state, Kerala’s Idukki district, by road 4 hours from Kochi / Ernakulam, 6 hours from Coimbtore and Madurai in Tamilnadu.

Best Season to visit: October to May

Reachable by road from most of the towns of Kerala and Tamilnadu or by helicopter.
