History

First discovered by a hippies group from Europe in 1960. It was a fishing village at that time. More hippies used to come after that. Later it became popular among locals and tourists and now it is the most popular tourist destination in Indian state Kerala.

Location: 14 kms North West of Thiruvananthpuram, the capital city of Kerala

Best Season to Visit

Very busy from September to March. Except June to August (rainy season) all seasons are good for this beach resort.
